A Message From Home Run Healers
NYP WC Nursing’s goal is to recognize and support nurses for their essential contributions, promote well being and resilience, and strengthen a culture of appreciation, teamwork, and service. In recognition of Nurses Week 2026, we are proud to support Nurses House, a national fund dedicated to helping registered nurses in times of need, reinforcing NYP WC Nursing’s commitment to patient care, community health, and professional excellence.
We are motivated by deep gratitude for nurses’ dedication, compassion, and the impact they have on lives every day. Nurses Week is a meaningful time to pause, reflect, and give back in a tangible way. Supporting Nurses House allows us to honor this important work, uplift one another, and put our shared values of respect, service, and care into action.
In Support of Nurses House, Inc
Nurses House is the only national organization offering assistance to RN's who are struggling due to their health and financial situation. Nurses House is run by nurses and funded by donations from nurses and the nursing community. Assistance is rendered to those who qualify on a short term basis to help with basic necessary expenses such as rent or mortgage payments and medical needs. The service is a vehicle for nurses to give and receive help from their fellow colleagues and is truly "nurses helping nurses."
