A Message From Vicky Russell
Today is my 64th birthday & I can’t go out with friends & family to celebrate due to the Covid19 outbreak. My age & previous respiratory vulnerability put me at higher risk. For my birthday I wish to honor the nurses who are bravely stepping into invisible life threatening circumstances, as brave as any soldier, to save lives of complete strangers on a daily basis. May 6th is National Nurses Day in the U.S. and I would like to encourage people to honor them by donating to organizations that support them. I have chosen this one because it actually cares directly for nurses in need during these times. I wish for everyone to be well, patient & motivated to practice safe behaviors, to care about the safety of our neighbors & to donate to the care of the nurses. They are mortal, vulnerable & yet do the bravest thing I can imagine.
